Meet Our Hygienists
Our hygienists are up to date with the latest education and procedures to prevent, maintain and treat periodontal disease.
I started my career at Contemporary Dentistry in 2002 as a dental assistant while attending hygiene school. After I graduated in 2006 from the Community College of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, I continued my career with Contemporary Dentistry. I am also CPR certified.
I am the proud mother of a son who is my everything. Wrestling has been our passion since he was a child. We have traveled around the country, which leads him to become a B1G, D1 athlete at the University of Maryland where he is studying biology/premed. I graduated from the University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am also CPR certified. I’ve been practicing Dental Hygiene for 36, with 30 of those years at Contemporary Dentistry.
I was raised and educated in the Midwest. My husband and I came to Connecticut with Pfizer 21 years ago, bringing our 2 children. I have made a professional career in the medical and dental fields and spent the last 42 years practicing as a Dental Hygienist, with 15 of those years at Contemporary Dentistry. I am also CPR certified.
I was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and moved to Rhode Island after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westfield State University. I later earned an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. I have practiced in both Rhode Island and Connecticut and I am CPR certified. I’ve been practicing Dental Hygiene for 7 years, with 4 of those years with Contemporary Dentistry. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and 2 children.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, going to the beach and practicing yoga.
I graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and I am CPR certified. I’ve been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for 10 years with the past 4 at Contemporary Dentistry.
I took a circuitous route to hygiene. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education prior to becoming a licensed dental hygienist. In my free time, I remain busy with my family: my husband, our two children, and my furry babies. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, crafting, yoga, and reading.
